Americus: Shine a Light on Slavery - End It Now! You can’t take a stand against something you don’t know exists. That’s why as END IT Movement, we focus our energy towards awakening the world to the fact that not only does slavery still exist, but that it’s more prevalent now than at any other time in history. It may seem like raising your voice isn’t doing enough, but as each of us comes alongside each other, we become a mighty roar calling culture’s attention to the scourge of human trafficking.
| 26 11 Roswell: Blood Drive Join us at Gate City as we challenge Alpharetta Rotary to see which club can donate the most pints to American Red Cross. | 27 8:30 Peachtree City: #ENDHTNOW - "LIGHTING" THE FUTURE FOR VICTIMS What better way for our club to give back to our local community and to help support one of our initiatives through RAGAS / End Human Trafficking Now campaigns than as a partner with Wellspring? With the generous donation of ~$35,000 of LED lighting products from Cooper Lighting Solutions and the project management by Herr Electric, the PTC Rotary Club quickly jumped at the chance to be #PeopleofAction by volunteering to install the lighting at the facility. The facility consists of 3 buildings - office space, teen dormitory and transition housing. With these upgrades to the facility, it will be sustainable for years to come, will have significant energy savings and will make the facility a safer and more secure environment for the victims to recover.
