"Disaster - The Musical" Aug. 3, 2pm show at the Marietta Theater, located at 11 Whitlock Avenue, Marietta.
High energy super fun music! We will be dancing at our seats! Discounted tickets for all Cobb Rotarians and their guests! We will get a block of good tickets and discounted tickets - $32.
Marietta Past President Jeff Cooper is performing, along with many other wildly talented people. This is a "DON'T MISS" event of fun music that we all know!
The After-Party will be a Glover Park Brewery, 5pm to whenever. Light food provided, drinks on your own.

Chef Kevin Rathbun’s passion for food and hospitality started in Kansas City, where he started as a dishwasher. Following culinary school, Rathbun went on to New Orleans, Dallas, Houston and Atlanta to work with celebrity chefs and restaurateurs including Bradley Ogden, Emeril Lagasse, Stephen Pyles, Ella Brennan and Pano Karatassos. In 1994, he was nominated for the James Beard Awards “Rising Star Chef” for his work at Baby Ruth. By 1996, he opened two different flagship restaurants with Buckhead Life Restaurant Group and served as the Corporate Executive Chef, overseeing several restaurants for the group. 10 | 11 12:15p Buckhead: Sam Donaldson, interim associate dean of Academic Affairs and Professor of Law, Georgia State University Guest 
Professor Donaldson is an interim associate dean of Academic Affairs and professor of law at Georgia State University College of Law. Prior to joining the College of Law in 2012, Professor Donaldson was on the faculty at the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle for 13 years. During his tenure at the University of Washington, he was a five-time recipient of the Philip A. Trautman Professor of the Year award from the School of Law's Student Bar Association. Professor Donaldson served for two years as Associate Dean for Academic Administration and for six years as the Director of the law school's Graduate Program in Taxation. | 12 | 13 6:30p North Cobb: Volunteer: Women's Extension Dinner Volunteers needed to bring sides for 30 people, serve dinner, and cleanup. The Extension is a faith based, 12 step, recovery program for both men and women. The residential program has Marietta facilities on Church St. Extension for the men and Holiday St. for women. North Cobb Rotary has provided dinner on a monthly basis for going on 15 years. It is a chance to get to know your fellow members in service as well as provide some encouragement for the men and women in recovery. Residents are required to gain employment during their residence and they receive counseling, job preparation and life skills in addition to the recovery process.
