Scott was born in Tallahassee to Harrold & Virginia, 1951, youngest of 4 children. He is married to Julie Carlson for 30 years. They have 2 children, Scott Jr. 27 and Jack 19. He graduated from FSU in 1972. In 1984 he developed the closed A and P into the Moon, concert and night club with capacity of 1,500. Opening in April 1985, producing over 3,000 concerts and events in the 33 years. In 1993, he operated recording studio in Midway that was built by Butch Trucks of the Allman Brothers. Produced various records for George Clinton and became a part of his management team in 1995 moving George and family to Tallahassee. He still works with George. He sold that building to FSU for its new film school. Starting in 2011 to date, he performs with Tallahassee Nights Live, a large R & B band on various occasions, vocals, guitar and piano. In 2013 to date, he was awarded the exclusive contract from Leon County to operate the new Capital City Amphitheater at Cascades Park Amphitheater for all ticketed events.
