Louise Barden presented update on our efforts and current conditions in Haiti. Bob O'Brien presented two fund raising ideas which were endorsed by the club. The first is a "Whiskey Cigar" raffle,. Warren Parsons had contacts that would be interested in buying raffle tickets.
Jennifer Bowler has a neighbor that hand makes Cuban type cigars. Bob will also follow up with the chef at Dunwoody Country Club who is in a Bourbon group. The seond fund raiser is a golf tournament in the spring at St. Marlo. At this fund raiser, Tee's can be sponsored as well as sponsors for the event. There are multiple opportunities for RCD to participate before and during the event.
