FAMILY OF ROTARY
Our membership cares deeply about the needs and concerns of our members. We don’t want to miss an opportunity to reach out in friendship when such concerns arise. The chairperson of this committee is Lynn Dunn and all news should be directed to her at lynn.dunn@rmcpa.com
OUR FUTURE IS BRIGHT! How do I know? Because twice a year, Roswell Rotary hosts Interact Day where we hear about the plans and accomplishments of our Interact Clubs. Their leadership and commitment to serve others are inspiring! These skills are learned from the many adults that mentor them throughout the year, including parents, teachers, principals and Roswell Rotary Liaisons and volunteers. Many thanks to the adults who help guide our next generation of leaders in Service Above Self!
We witnessed Progressive Interact in action as our high school and middle school clubs worked together on the Youth Day Parade float. It was with great pride that we watched the Interact Clubs from District 6900 come together on Feb. 16 to donate and pack supplies for seniors in Puerto Rico. It is exciting to see them receive Rotary International and District 6900 awards for their service. It is wonderful to watch students return from the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards weekend where they honed their leadership skills and use those skills in leading their clubs. Individually, each club served others in our community and around the world.
Roswell Rotary has planted many seeds of leadership through service through its 12 Interact Clubs thus growing the next generation of community and Rotary leaders in the process. As a liaison, the fruits of our service to these young people are many and heartwarming! Join us this week to hear from our Interact Clubs about their many accomplishments this year!
COME PREPARED TO BE INSPIRED!

Roswell Rotary is proud to be a cleanup site sponsor for Sweep the Hooch – held April 6th, 9am to 12pm! Sweep the Hooch is an annual day of service to the Chattahoochee River watershed mobilizing volunteers on foot, in waders, or kayak/canoe paddlers to remove trash at locations throughout the watershed. Sweep the Hooch brings people together to give back to the mighty river that gives us so much. Last year, with the help of over 900 volunteers, we removed 24 TONS from our watershed. This is a great family event!
