President's Message Never Forget 9/11Colonel Mark D. Gelhardt, Sr. gave a great message on volunteering during our Never Forget 9/11 ceremony. He reminded the audience that our military and first responders are made up of men and women who volunteer to put their life on the line to secure our way of life. While we all can't volunteer in that capacity, he encouraged us to serve our fellow man through civic organizations like Rotary. Thank you to Dwayne Kell and the entire 9/11 committee for helping us Never Forget. This Week's Speaker Frantz K. Fortune, VEOWith the help of compassionate family and innovative collaborations of selfless communities and corporate supporters, Frantz Fortune set out to craft a nonprofit organization that has helped thousands of veterans reintegrate back into lives of empowerment. In July of 2008 the vision and dream to advocate for veterans came to fruition. Since its inception, Veterans Empowerment Organization (VEO) has grown into a safe-haven for veterans as a result of substantial community involvement and unwavering strategic partnerships with organizations who continue to engage and empower our military veterans.
