In order to make this conference financially stable, we need your help. There has been a trend to book rooms outside the Rotary room block reserved through the hotel. While you may save a few dollars, it adds up to serious dollars to the district that must be made up out of the district budget. You can guess who pays the district budget: it is the Rotarians of District 6900. When you use an outside booking agency, you are seriously impacting the budgeting process that takes place to enable us to have great conferences. If this continues, the only choice we have is to lower the standards of what we have today, and to raise registration fees by significant amounts. We have set up this site so that when you register, you can link directly to SanDestin to reserve your rooms. Please use this and do not try to save a few dollars at the expense of other Rotarians.

This is the link to our block:

http://www.sandestin.com/247716 Our Group Code is: 247716

Your reservation through our link includes:

  • TWO (2) COMPLIMENTARY 4-HOUR BICYCLE RENTALS EACH DAY OF YOUR STAY.
  • ONE HOUR FREE KAYAK RENTALS AND ONE HOUR OF BOOGIE BOARDS, WEATHER PERMITTING.
  • AN HOUR OF FREE SANDESTIN TENNIS COURT TIME PER UNIT.
  • FREE ACCESS TO THE SANDESTIN FITNESS CENTER
  • FREE RESORT TRAM SERVICE
  • PREFERRED BEACH PARKING

If you book the Grand Complex you will be placed in one of four hotels in the Grand area based upon availability. These include the Grand, LaSata, Bahia, and Elation. We can NOT guarantee you will be in the Grand hotel.

This year’s “JOLLY HOLIDAY” conference will feature some amazing Speakers and Entertainment. You will not want to miss any of them!

Ronda Rich

Ronda Rich tells a good story. Whether it's in her best-selling books, speaking engagements, public radio or her weekly syndicated column which runs in over fifty newspapers across the Southeast, she weaves tales that are captivating and engaging and often interlaced with uplifting truths of life.

She tells the South like it is – unique, charming, emotional, funny, contrary and bursting with color. Descending from ten generations of Southern tellers of tales, she points out, "Nothing beats a good story told well. Unless, of course, it's a good story told and retold."

John Scalici

John Scalici is an award winning teaching artist, author, internationally recognized facilitator, musician, and a member of the John C. Maxwell Team of certified speakers, coaches, and trainers. His interactive, motivational programs are in high demand at leading corporations, college campuses, elementary, middle and high schools across the U.S.

As an accomplished musician, Mr. Scalici has toured the U.S. with two bands, Gravy, and junkyardmen. He has toured with blues and rock legends Buddy Guy, the Allman Brothers Band, Gov’t Mule and Widespread Panic. He has released three solo cd’s: RhythmMusic, Rhythms for Movement and Drumming, and Rhythmic Fun for Everyone.

His passion, however, lies in empowering others through an interactive rhythm experience. Weaving powerful metaphors of leadership and team dynamics, Mr. Scalici is a favorite with the corporate and education world. He is a master of taking the goals and objectives of his audience and creating a unique presentation which will inspire and initiate change.

Come join DG Mary/Mary Poppins for a whimsical team challenge of fun and antics on the Grand Lawn with prizes for the team winners, best costume, and Poppins Pony. Teams of 4 persons or individuals may sign up for a combined team. Signature Drinks and Crumpets (appetizers) are included. $30 per person.

Progressive dinner 7:00 to 9:00 pm to follow the Poppins Pony Prix on the District 6900 Club Hospitality Suite floor (free to all Rotarians and Guests)
