Teacher of the Year

The Rotary Club of Tucker continues to support and foster the local public schools. Last year we decided to recognize a Middle School teacher from Tucker. She was accompanied by Dr. Cunningham to the DeKalb Rotary breakfast where all teachers of the year were awarded.

We are currently working very closely with Tucker High School and Tucker Middle School. Our Teacher of the Year will come from one of the two schools. The TOTY committee is now evaluating and updating the selection criteria.

This is one one of the most important projects that we and other clubs do.. The selected tteacher is symbolic of all that is good in the classroom. Also, the receipients of this award are as appreciative of receiving it as we(the clubs) are of awarding it.

The process is in motion.
