Funding The Engine of Roswell Rotary

The Mission: The 38th Annual Aubrey Greenway Charity Golf and 4th Annual Hagan Cup Tennis Tournament set a new record in fundraising. RRC is pumping $206,000 in net profits into our support of 35+ local and international charities.

100% Club Participation: Record attendance and great weather allowed two flights of golf and tennis with over 240 golfers, over 80 tennis players, and 250+ volunteers and sponsors totaling over 5000 hours served. Every RRC member participates along with spouses, family and friends.

We end with an awards dinner, silent and live auctions, and a live band. This is the most complex undertaking of our club, requiring volunteers from 5 am to 11 pm and has become one of the largest all-volunteer fundraising events in GA.

Who Gets Touched? Over $275,000 was raised with all net profits going to charities. Pres. Jeff played and worked the event, but was also a Platinum Sponsor! It is difficult to know how many people benefit from fundraiser, but we estimate that it is thousands. It is also wide exposure to Rotary's good work in the community. The event is promoted on our website, Facebook page, and local newspapers; both before and after it occurs.
