The LaGrange Rotary Club participated in this national event to raise awareness of and money for research of this disease that affects such a large part of the American population. The event was held at a local retirement community center and proved to be the biggest success to date for the LaGrange Community.
Rotarians Debbie Jones and Margaret Morton served as chairs for the event which began at 8:00 A.M. Participants enjoyed a short program and warm-up session before walking the two mile route. The event takes place at Vernon Woods' Retirement Community.
A total of $1,045.00 was raised by the LaGrange Rotary Club for this worthy cause.
