Interact Club Projects with Autrey Mill Middle School & Johns Creek High School

Rotarians joined Interact Club members at Autrey Mill Middle School and Johns Creek High School for multiple afternoons of

• beautifying school grounds and a portion of Old Alabama Road
• volunteering at a local animal shelter helping care for the animals
• will be mentoring elementary students during the after school program
• will be volunteering with the YMCA annual Kids Mud Run event in May

We are excited to have helped charter our 2nd Interact Club at Johns Creek High School this past fall. The principals and school administration at both schools are supportive and have visited club meetings multiple times.

We have a lead Rotarian supporting the school staff sponsoring the clubs and mentoring the students involved in the Interact Clubs. Katie Arabis leads the Autrey Mill Middle School club and Susan Gale leads the Johns Creek High School club.

The students enthusiastically wear their Interact t-shirts or their Rotary yellow vests and join together with Rotarians to serve our community. It is inspiring to see these future Rotarians in the making!
