Every January since 2004, the Rotary Club of Griffin has collaborated with the American Red Cross to sponsor a blood drive. On January 12, 2017, Griffin Rotarians once again rolled up their sleeves to give the gift of life. It is impossible to quantify this contribution!
Brian Fern of the Biomedical Division of the American Red Cross, told Rotarians that over the years, the Griffin Rotary Club's annual blood drive has resulted in 445 units reaching 1,335 patients. The Red Cross collected 53 pints at this year’s drive. Philip Smith and the staff at Memorial Drive Vet Clinic coordinated our annual drive again this year.
