Annual Family of Rotary Banquet

This annual Family of Rotary Banquet is given each June to thank our outgoing president and to welcome the new club president.The event is held at LaGrange College complete with drinks, a full buffet, entertainment and club awards and presentations.

District Governor Bob Hagan, Assistant Governor Pat Keating and Court Dowling joined LaGrange Rotarians and their family members to celebrate the year. DG Bob presented President George with the club's Presidential Citation and congratulated the club members on becoming a 100% Paul Harris Club.

At last June's celebration 2015-2016 Club President George Henry thanked individual club members and highlighted the accomplishments of the club for the year. Individuals who had perfect attendance were acknowledged along with the individuals who were inducted into the club during the year. Fifty two of our members had perfect attendance with Clark Johnson (38 yrs), Chunk Newman (32 yrs) and Shep Phillips (30 yrs) leading the way.

The Charles D. Hudson Service Above Self Citizen of the Year Award was presented in memory and honor of Tom Hall, which was accepted by his wife. The Charles D. Hudson Service Above Self Rotarian of the Year Award was presented to Judy Freeman.

The hours put into this project reflect the time that went into the planning and the Powerpoint presentation and the additional materials that were used and given at this event. Members do not pay, guests are charged $35.
