CART Fund Project

Rotary Club of Alpharetta has long supported Rotary’s CART Fund with, very often, the largest donation from a Club of our category in this District. This year we have raised and donated over $2000.00 toward Alzheimer’s research by dropping change in the CART buckets on our tables. Rotarians are encouraged to voluntarily empty their pockets of change, or whatever amount they choose, whenever they attend a Rotary meeting.

Rotarians in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia and some areas of Texas, Florida, Idaho and Kentucky are the sponsors of The CART Fund (Coins for Alzheimer’s Research Trust) dedicated to raising funds to provide the “seed” money for cutting edge, high impact research in hopes of finding a cure/prevention for Alzheimer’s disease.

CART is currently supported by Rotarians in Rotary Districts: 6780, 6900, 6910, 6920, 7570, 7670, 7680, 7690, 7710, 7720, 7730, 7750 and 7770 (the districts of North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Georgia), as well as by individual Rotary clubs, elsewhere.
