Our club has been and will continue to be a big supporter of the Georgia Laws of Life Essay Contest. Members of our club have served and are serving on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Rotary Districts Character Education Program which governs the contest.
In addition to our annual contribution of $1000 to the program we dedicate one of our meetings to the award winners from Roswell High School. Students read their essays to our club and are presented with their medals during the meeting. There usually isn't a dry eye in the room.
