Clayton State University Athletic Scholarship

The club sponsored an Athletic Scholarship for students who need additional time to complete their studies after their initial athletic scholarship runs out. This covers some of their educational expenses while they continue to earn their degree. The club members attended the opening basketball season game and were honored at a reception prior to the start of the game.

"We are excited to invite the Rotary of Lake Spivey/Clayton County to our first home men’s basketball game this year on Thursday, November 17. We are playing LeMoyne-Owen College. We will provide complimentary tickets to each Rotarian and one guest to attend the game.
Prior to the start of the game, we will host a reception at 5:30 p.m. in the Athletic Center’s basketball suite. Each Rotarian and his/her guest are invited to attend. The game starts at 7:00 p.m. During half-time, we will be announcing the new athletic scholarship that you have created.
Feel free to forward this message and we will also create an invitation with RSVP information for you to distribute to every member of the Rotary. I appreciate the support and look forward to hosting the Rotary Club of Lake Spivey/Clayton County on November 17!
