Rotary Veterans Recognition
On Wednesday, November 7th, the Rotary Club of LaGrange honored the veterans who are members in the club. The veterans were recognized and thanked for their service to our Country and also to Rotary.
Each veteran was asked to come forward and speak on what service they had been involved in and share a bit about their time serving our Country. Each member received a certificate and a special Rotary Veteran pin.
The veterans who are pictured in the first photo are: Seated, WWII Veteran Ellis Smith, standing left to right, Connor Smith Taylor Merrill, Thomas Malone, John Cashen, Jim Kilbrew, Danny Guy, Luther Jones, Bruce Crawford and Bill Bowling.
Veterans who were not present are: Jake Behr, Robert Copeland, George Henry, Fred Jones, Randy Nix and Inness Silcox. These members were recognized at later meetings.
