Mayor's Corporate Challenge

The Mayor's Corporate Challenge is our major fundraiser each year! 

In 2023/2024, we raised $140,000!!! 

Most of these donations come from corporations with local operations.  Last year was the 26th anniversary of this event.  More than 1,500 runners participate.  This event includes a children's fun run as well as a more competitive 5K through the streets of downtown Alpharetta.

A showcase of all of the participating companies is assembled in the city park.  The festivities start in the early afternoon and continue late into the evening.  Most of the corporations use our event as a team-building event to bring their employees closer.

The moneys raised by this event is used to support most of Alpharetta Rotary's philanthropic efforts.  The beneficiaries include: YMCA, North Fulton Community Charities, Drake House, Stand-Up for Kids, Foster Care Georgia, HomeStretch, Literacy, Clean Water and many, many others.

Global points of impact include polio eradication, literacy, clean water and humanitarian and medical aid.

This is our BIG event for our year!  It's an all-hands-on-deck event that even helps our newer rotarians participate in the core activities of the club.
