In 1932-33, Edward T. Flanders became District Governor, at a time when the depression had a substantial grip on our District, and the chief duties of our Governor were to give help and encouragement to existing Rotary Clubs which might be facing financial difficulties. No new clubs were formed. The District remained at the same number of clubs, 26, which had existed after the Waycross Club was formed in 1930.
