Porter Carswell, of Waynesboro, Georgia, was chosen as District Governor for 1938-39. His administration from the start has been brilliant and constructive. He has organized one club right after another, and although his administration is not over, the following new clubs have been organized in Georgia: Sylvania, July 1st, 1938; Austell- Clarkdale, August 25th, 1938; Claxton, September 8th, 1938; Dublin, December 8th, 1938; Bamesville, January 11th, 1939; Hawkinsville, January 19th, 1939; Aiken, S. C., February 7th, 1939; Covington, February 8th, 1939; Rockmart, April 4th, 1939.
