| | | | | | 1 District Conference 2021 [CANCELLED] Governor Kirk and many in district leadership spent considerable time in thought and discussion weighing the pros and cons of holding the conference. In the final conclusion, it was felt we could not ensure conditions would be safe and could not in good conscience risk the health of anyone in attendance. Governor Kirk is still looking at options for clubs to celebrate this year. He knows it is especially tough on this year’s presidents who have given so much in the name of Rotary. Stayed tuned for further communication. Many of you have registered already. We will process refunds. There is nothing you need to do. If you have reserved a room, please cancel directly with Sandestin.

These beautiful hardwoods were the backdrops for family photos, noted landmarks, shade for children playing and simply brought joy to our community. These beloved trees were all completely destroyed by an EF4 tornado in the early hours of March 26th. The Rotary Club of Newnan in conjunction with the Newnan High School Interact Club is hosting a Tree Drive for the City of Newnan. The goal of this project is to plant and nourish new hardwoods for our community and to link our Interact Club with other Clubs at the high school to provide an additional way to serve our community.

| 19 | 20 12:15p Thomasville: Russell Deese - Russels' Military Vehicles AT THE BISCUIT COMPANY Guest Russell will bring his unique speaking style and fun stories to entertain us.
Wars may come and wars may go, but the vehicle that carried soldiers to the battlefield never die. At least that's the goal of Russell's Military Vehicles. It's our way of honoring history. We see old jeeps the way God sees people, not for what they are, but what they can be. That gives us the desire to see a jeep reworked and looking battlefield-ready again. The military vehicles are a 3-D representation of history.
As I started this "Hobby gone mad", it all began as a child. My dad had a salvage yard in the 40's through the 60's; that was the atmosphere in which I was raised in since 1962 in Live Oak, FL. I have been working on jeeps for as long as I can remember. I started building, restoring, and repairing jeeps as my occupation in 1984. Several of the restorations we have completed are in museums from the east coast to the west coast. We have provided vehicles and accessories for movie props and reenactments. 12:15p Roswell: Dr. Dan Salinas, CHOA - Covid's Impact on Children Guest Daniel Salinas, MD, is Chief of Community Clinical Integration for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
