Speaker Bio – Emilio Estevez
Emilio Estevez serves as the Program Manager of Strategic Initiatives for the Atlanta Police Foundation (APF), where he supports several of the foundation’s most critical initiatives aimed at strengthening public safety across the City of Atlanta. In this role, Emilio helps coordinate projects, partnerships, and operations tied to the Atlanta Public Safety Training Center (APSTC)—a state-of-the-art training campus designed to prepare Atlanta Police Department and Atlanta Fire Rescue Department personnel for the complex challenges of modern public safety.
At APF, Emilio works closely with public safety leadership, city officials, private-sector partners, and philanthropic stakeholders to help advance initiatives that improve training, technology, and operational readiness for first responders. His work supports the foundation’s broader mission of helping make Atlanta the safest large city in the United States through innovative public-private partnerships.
Prior to joining the Atlanta Police Foundation, Emilio served for ten years as a Special Operations Officer (Marine Raider) in the United States Marine Corps, where he led teams in high-risk environments and strategic missions around the world. Following his military service, he transitioned into the private sector, where he spent another decade in senior leadership roles across communications, public relations, marketing, and operations, helping organizations build strategic partnerships and execute large-scale initiatives.
Emilio is passionate about connecting communities with the work supporting public safety professionals and strongly believes in the power of collaboration among civic leaders, the private sector, and local communities to address complex challenges.
