Bark in the Park Add To My Calendar

Rotary Club of Buckhead

April 25, 2021 11:00 am— 4:30 pm

Here's a volunteer opportunity for the Atlanta Humane Society on April 25. You get to help dogs and dog lovers and see a Braves game. Here are the details from Stacey at AHS: We need a list of your volunteer's names before the Braves can provide parking info, and only those people will be allowed into the park. We also need the t-shirt size for each of your volunteers, so we can provide them an AHS red volunteer t-shirt to wear. Bark at the Park check in begins at 12 p.m. for the April 25 game at the Chop House Gate, located beside the Terrapin Taproom. This gate is behind centerfield, adjacent to The Battery Atlanta and is the only gate that will allow for event check in. Volunteers are to meet at the Executive Office entry which is opposite the Roxy within the stadium complex at 11am. They will check their IDs and bags and issue a pass to get in and around facility. Our AHS lead volunteer and someone from Wag-A-Lot will meet them after that to give them the lay of the land and schedule for the day. They are letting dogs into the stadium starting at noon and the game starts at 1:20pm. A typical game is 3 hours so they can expect to be there until about 430pm. The schedule for the day will include breaks where they can sit and enjoy the game.

Contact Mark Johnson (404-429-2812 or mejgeorgia@gmail.com) as soon as possible if you would like to be part of this event. We need 10 volunteers. Be sure to include your t-shirt size. It's a great chance to get out and support the Atlanta Humane Society.
