Ashley Quinn is the Collections Manager at Georgia College Natural History Museum (GCNHM), Milledgeville, Georgia, where she manages and curates a growing collection of 40,000 specimens. She is also President of Paleontology Association of Georgia, a statewide scientific, non-profit, community-based organization devoted to the study and preservation of Georgia’s paleontological resources. Ashley has spent her entire professional career of fourteen years at GCNHM helping students, faculty, and the community understand and value paleontology, geology, and natural history. For the past ten years she has continued to share her passion for these subjects to a broadened audience by conducting outreach programs in schools and during regional events. More recently these efforts have resulted in assisting in the creation of a statewide association that brings together paleontological academics, amateurs, enthusiasts and the community. Ashley enjoys most any activity involving visiting historical sites and being out in nature including paleontological and archaeological field work, white water rafting, and camping. She also enjoys painting, sculpting, writing poetry, and crochet.
