School Attended: Georgia Southern University Major: Construction Management Places I have lived: I grew up in Metter, Georgia. I have moved around the country managing projects and lived in Brownsville, Texas; Columbus, Georgia; LaGrange, Georgia; Orlando, Florida; Jackson, Mississippi. I have lived in Roswell for 12 years and it is now my permanent home. Spouse: Rhonda (Kemp) Kids: No kids Other involvement in community: Previous community activities include being the co-chair for Associated Builders and Contractors Community Projects Committee and working on various Habitat for Humanity homes. Career: Currently I am a Senior Program Manager managing the site selection, due diligence, design, and construction of capital building programs in the education, manufacturing, and public sectors such as Auburn University, Continental Tire, Federal Express, and the Georgia Board of Regents. Prior to representing owners, I worked as a general contractor building similar projects. Something interesting: In college, I worked with my family on the ground-up restoration of a 1939 J-3 Piper Cub. To get the plane to the location to start the restoration, we landed it on a 2-lane highway outside of Statesboro, Georgia. While travelling through Metter on I-16, you may see the plane on the airport tarmac. Why I joined Rotary: Now that I have made Roswell my permanent home, I joined to have a more engagement in the local community which I have lacked in the past due to moving and travelling throughout the country for work.
