DISTRICT GOVERNOR JIM SQUIRE, POLIO ZONE COORDINATOR BOB HAGEN, PAST ROTARY INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR ROBERT HALL VISIT FOR FOUNDATION KICKOFF

Jim Squire, District Governor

Our District Governor, Jim Squire, is a person of action guided by our motto of Service Above Self, as evidenced by his many years of service to his community, his profession and Rotary.

His Rotary service includes the 2017 International Convention Executive Committee, District Youth Services Chair and Assistant Governor. He has served on the Rotary Laws of Life Board, volunteered at several District Conferences and graduated from the Rotary Leadership Institute. He has been club Rotarian of the Year, earned two Service Above Self Awards, and proudly sponsored twelve new Rotary Club members. Jim also contributes generously: he is a Major Donor, Paul Harris Society member and Bequest Society member with the Rotary Foundation and a Will Watt Fellow with the Georgia Rotary Student Program.

Jim and his wife Donna live in Sandy Springs, where they are active in the Dunwoody United Methodist Church. They have a son and a daughter who have blessed them with three grandsons and two granddaughters.

Bob HaganBob joined the Rotary Club of Roswell in 1998 and served as its President in 2008 – 2009 Rotary year. Prior to serving as Club President, he served as Treasurer, Secretary and President Elect. He has worked on multiple Roswell Rotary International Club Projects in Haiti, Costa Rica, Honduras, the Bahamas and Puerto Rico and India. Bob served on the Roswell Board of Directors from 2001 – 2010 and as Presidential Advisor for 2012 – 2013 and 2014 – 2015.

He was honored to receive the 2007 Roswell Rotarian of the Year Award and the 2008 Sheffield Award for leadership as Club President. He has been recognized for his contributions to the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International with a Paul Harris Fellow, Paul Harris Society, Arch Klump Society, Level 4 Foundation benefactor, and is a member of the Bequest Society. His contributions toward the Georgia Rotary Student Program have been recognized with a presentation of a Will Watt Fellow, Hue Thomas Fellow, Kendall Weisiger Fellow and a Ronnie Waller Fellow.

Bob is serving as the Zone 34 - End Polio Now Coordinator in 2017-19 for Rotary International.

Bob is the proud father of two adult married children, Brooke and Chad, who are both Rotarians. He is a new granddad to Winnie, born this past July and already a Paul Harris Fellow.

Robert served RI as Director, on the Board’s Executive Committee, Chair of the 2017 Atlanta Convention Host Committee, member of the 2017 Convention Committee, the Foundation Centennial Celebration Committee and Chair of the RAG & Audit Committees. He has been a COL representative, DRFC, EPNC & on the Director Nominating Committee. He has represented the RI President at numerous conferences & been a keynote speaker in several states & countries for Rotary & other organizations. Robert has participated in several international projects & led a NID team to Uttar Pradesh, India. He is Chair of the Global Networking Groups Committee & Vice Chair Fundraising of the End Polio Now: Countdown to History.
