FAMILY OF ROTARY

Our membership cares deeply about the needs and concerns of our members. We don’t want to miss an opportunity to reach out in friendship when such concerns arise. The chairperson of this committee is Lynn Dunn and all news should be directed to her at lynn.dunn@rmcpa.com

President's Message
58 Paul Harris Fellows!

We had a packed program last week and the significance of our Paul Harris Fellow presentation may have been lost in the hectic schedule. We had 50 members of our club that answered the call to step up to the next level of Paul Harris Fellow, including Jim Coyle becoming a Major Donor and Donna Smythe becoming a Major Donor Level 2. In addition we had 8 first time Paul Harris Fellows. The 58 member contributions along with our club match represent a $34,000+ contribution to the Rotary International Foundation with $13,000+ going to Polio Plus. Thank you for your generosity!

This Week's Speaker
Cheryl Greenway, D6900 Foundation Chair

Cheryl Greenway is a Past President of our club, a Past District Governor and continues to serve District 6900 as the Foundation Chair. The Rotary International Foundation is consistently one of the highest rated organizations on Charity Navigators list and one of the best places to donate money if you want it to get to those in need. November is foundation month and Cheryl will share with us how the money our club contributes to the foundation allows us to do projects like the interactive projector for The Cottage School, the Rotary Learning Lab for HomeStretch and build wells in Honduras.

NFCC Toy Drive
Please Bring An Unwrapped Toy

If you are looking for a way to help provide a nice Christmas to those in need please bring an unwrapped toy to Rotary for NFCC. If you don't have time to shop, June Brown will be happy to take your contribution and do the shopping for you.
