FAMILY OF ROTARY
Our membership cares deeply about the needs and concerns of our members. We don’t want to miss an opportunity to reach out in friendship when such concerns arise. The chairperson of this committee is Lynn Dunn and all news should be directed to her at lynn.dunn@rmcpa.com

President's Message We Have Some Catching Up To DoAshley and I look forward to heading to the beach every year with our Rotary friends and family for district conference to celebrate another great year for Roswell Rotary. This year certainly would have been extra special for me personally and I wish I was heading to Jekyll Island this Wednesday as I had planned. Our club has done amazing work this year and has a lot to be proud of. We will have to make up for lost time at the District Celebration on June 13th and our Installation Party on June 24th. Wednesday, April 22 | 6PM Virtual Hospitality SuiteI know we can't recreate the fun atmosphere of our hospitality suite over zoom, but we can try! Put on your parrot shirts and hoist a drink with me this Wednesday to toast all the hard work our club has put in this year. It has been great to check-in with folks on these weekly calls and I hope you can join us. Some people are on the whole time, others pop in to say hi, just click the link below to join the zoom: https://zoom.us/j/96208486516
Support CDA Bid On Mickey's Pound CakeIt's time for an old fashion bake sale for a 100 year old recipe. Mickey Deaton's grandmother made the best pound cakes you every put in your mouth and Mickey has the family recipe. "I grew up eating these unbelievable delicious cakes. They are all made from scratch using nothing but the very best organic ingredients," says Mickey. He is auctioning off one of these pound cakes this week and who ever has made the highest bid by 3:00pm on Friday wins. Text Mickey with your bid at 770-310-2202. There is already a $25 bid on the table. In Case You Missed It A Message From The Corona Monkey
In case you missed it in last week's meeting or on our Facebook page over the weekend. The Corona Monkey has a PSA about being kind to each other while we debate how to open things back up. Please watch the video if you missed it. Support Our Club's COVID-19 Fund Cash For Corona
Our club continues to lead the way and in many cases is the conduit for connecting members who want to give to those in need. The Rotascope is a great place to find opportunities to support individual organizations or volunteer your time. For those of you who want to give, but not sure how or where, we have a COVID-19 response fund and encourage members to make a donation to this fund. Our club will take those funds to support healthcare workers, families in need and the organizations on the front lines of this fight in our community.
CLICK HERE TO CONTRIBUTE Volunteer To Support Healthcare Be 1 In A MillionRotary clubs and districts from around the country have joined forces with the Yale School of Public Health to help train 1 million healthcare volunteers. The volunteers will provide Telehealth support from home or in person support after completing a comprehensive online training program. If you are interested in volunteering you can learn more on the Global Impact Group's website.
