President's Message Ain't No Stopping Us NowWhat a week! The 42nd Aubrey Greenway and 8th Hagan Cup Classic was a huge success! One hundred and thirty golfers and over eighty tennis players joined the fun as we raised funds to support over thirty local charities. While he could not be with us in person, Malone took care of the weather. It was a beautiful day filled with fellowship, laughter and our hearts full of joy as we proved once again, “there ain’t no stopping us now”. On Thursday, we hosted our second “sold out” blood drive. Who would have thought? It’s another sign that even during what many call the hardest of times, Roswell Rotarians are always willing to give. For those who were not able to join, we will host another blood drive early next year. Saturday, was simply a GREAT DAY! We served over 200 burgers and dogs to law enforcement, fire and rescue, and 911 dispatchers at our first Drive Thru Cookout. The thank you’ s and smiles on the faces of our first responders will forever be ingrained in my mind. Thanks to everyone who helped make our community a better place. You are a blessing!

Adopt A Platoon Supporting Our TroopsThanks to Alicia, we have identified 14 local sailors who are deployed on the USS Nimitz in the Persian Gulf and USS Ronald Regan in the South China Sea. The Nimitz operates and trains alongside regional and coalition partners, and provides naval aviation support to Operation Inherent Resolve. The Ronald Regan conducts maritime air defense operations in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific. From October 1st through Nov. 5th, we will collect supplies to ship 150 goodie boxes to both ships. Boxes will be packed as part of our Veterans Day program AT OUR NOVEMBER 5TH MEETING. Click here for the list of needed supplies. Reach out to Ralph Rowland @ rfrrowland@yahoo.com or 404-641-5671 with questions. Share the list with family and friends.
