Service Opportunities
Serve Inside or Outside This Saturday, March 6

Choose your preferred place to serve this Saturday ...

  • Inside at the Community Assistance Center (CAC) food pantry from 9 am to noon ... we'll help stock shelves, process food donations and generally get the pantry ready for next week's shoppers. All COVID safety provisions are followed. Let Jennifer Bowler know if you plan to join us.
  • Outside at Bounds Gardens for an hour or two sprucing up the traffic island across from the Dunwoody library. Chief Gardener Fred Bounds will be happy to see you there.

And, the CAC says it has many opportunities in the Thrift and Food Pantry - including food delivery to home bound clients once a week, virtually interviewing clients for financial assistance to help with utilities and rent, and virtually logging CAC's phone messages. And there are some temporary needs at the Dunwoody Food Pantry on Thursdays (3/11, 3/17, and 3/25) from 8:30AM to 1:30PM helping clients with food distribution. If you would like to learn more information about these activities, please contact Nolan Feintuch at volunteers@ourcac.org.

Thank You!
Thanks to Our USO Bakers

A BIG THANK YOU to Les Woulfin, Griff and Dottie Ransom, Louise and Ron Barden for making the special cookies for our military personnel. Your cookies will make our box lunches very special and much appreciated by our service people. On each bag of cookies and box lunch we will place a label from RCD.  All of the cookies received except for one was labeled with the baker's name. We thank all RCD bakers for their contributions.
