This Week's Speaker ... In Person and Zoom
Join Us for a Club Assembly ... in Person and on Zoom

Join us this Friday for a Club Assembly - in person at Le Meridien Atlanta Perimeter, or on Zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86202979419. Because we are doing a mini job-fair for the upcoming Rotary year, we encourage you to join in person if you can.

We'll take a look at how we are doing as a club - with a look at our financials and all that we have done to make a difference in the year 2020-21. Then President Elect Carter will take a look at what's in store for 2021-22, with a mini-job fair to help you learn more about how you can be part of all or any of what we do. You'll have an opportunity to sign up to help - or get more information - on the projects we're doing in the next Rotary year.

Service Opportunities
The Dunwoody Nature Center is Calling ... This Saturday, 9-noon

Plan to join us this Saturday, June 12 from 9:00 AM to noon at the Dunwoody Nature Center. We need all the volunteers we can get to help with projects on the property - and your support can help us increase the impact we will have on the Dunwoody Nature Center. The activities involve proper social distancing, but allow volunteers to be close enough to share encouragement and humor.

Go to the Dunwoody Nature Center website to sign up and complete a volunteer waiver. Bring your water, gloves and plan to enjoy fellowship with your club members!

Join the July 5 Celebration!
Test Your History Knowledge ... and Create Future History This Independence Day!

Uncle Sam (and the Dunwoody Family of Rotary) needs you to help make this year's Independence Day celebration as fun as many Fourth of July parades past. Only this year, the city will be celebrating on Monday, July 5. Do you know:

  • When Uncle Sam made his debut as a Dunwoody Rotarian and why he joined us?
  • When we started "baking up a storm" to boost hot dog stand sales?
  • Who didn't have to pay for their hot dogs? (no the answer is not Dunwoody Rotarians)
  • All the ways you can be a part of this year's Dunwoody Rotary Fourth of July?

Take the time to click on "more" and learn the rest of the story! In the meantime, mark your calendar to join the Dunwoody Family of Rotary on July 5 in Dunwoody Village.

Fellowship Opportunity
Dunwoody Diners Back at the Table!

On Saturday, July 10, Dunwoody Diners will be back in action with organizers Ken and Sherry Levy at the helm. Our first gathering will be held at Aldo's Italian Restaurant. This Dunwoody tradition stretches back several years - letting Rotarians and partners enjoy fellowship together while raising some money for the Dunwoody Rotary Charitable Fund (we ask for a $5 donation from each person attending).
