Join Us Monday, July 5 for the Dunwoody Fourth of July

Join the Dunwoody Family of Rotary tradition on Monday, July 5 - we'll be marching in the parade and serving up hot dogs - just as we have for most of the last 30 years! Watch for a special bulletin early next week about where to be if you want to join in the FUN! The parade starts at 9 am and we'll need some time to decorate ahead of time - exact location to be confirmed. And we'll be setting up the hot dog booth at Dunwoody Village - in time to start serving those Independence Day hot dogs shortly after the parade begins!

Send in Your Memories
Help Us Honor PDG Bill Mulkey

You can't think of PDG and Dunwoody President Emeritus Bill Mulkey without reflecting on how much influence he had on the Rotary Club of Dunwoody, District 6900 and The Rotary Foundation ... not to mention the inspiration he provided to everyone who knew him.

We are working on creating a special tribute to Bill and need your help. Please take some time to think about what impact Bill had on your life - and your Rotary experience - and send your thoughts (and pictures if you'd like) to Dottie Toney Ransom at toneydot@me.com. We're not sure exactly when we will present our tribute to the Mulkey Family but would appreciate your response at your earliest convenience.

Wine Fellowship
Next Tuesday's "Whine Awhile" at the Bardens is Sold Out!

The second meeting of Dunwoody Rotary's new wine fellowship takes place next Tuesday, June 29 at Ron and Louise Barden's from 5:30 - 7:00 pm. However, you may whine when you find out that the event is at capacity.

We have reservations for: Cathie Brumfield,  Carter and Marycarol Stout,  Roy and June Wise,  Jackie Cuthbert,  Chris and Jane Gutschenritter,  Tina Philpot, Dottie and Griff Ransom, Jennie and Mike Stipick,  Ed and Judy Holliday,  Jim and Carolyn Riticher, and  Susan and Bob Schwall.

Attendees should bring a beverage or finger food to share (appetizers) and can park in the driveway or cul-de-sac. If you won't be able to make it, please let us know so that we can give your spot to someone else.

If you'd like to add your name to a waiting list or have a question, contact by email Louise Barden at Lbarden@comcast.net.

Fellowship Opportunity
Dunwoody Diners Back at the Table!

On Saturday, July 10, Dunwoody Diners will be back in action with organizers Ken and Sherry Levy at the helm. Our first gathering will be held at Aldo's Italian Restaurant. This Dunwoody tradition stretches back several years - letting Rotarians and partners enjoy fellowship together while raising some money for the Dunwoody Rotary Charitable Fund (you pay for your dinner and libations, and we ask for a $5 donation from each person attending).

Let Ken or Sherry Levy know by July 1 if you will be joining us.
