FAMILY OF ROTARY

Our membership cares deeply about the needs and concerns of our members. We don’t want to miss an opportunity to reach out in friendship when such concerns arise. The chairperson of this committee is Lynn Dunn and all news should be directed to her at lynn.dunn@rmcpa.com

President's Message

We are Family.

Great meeting this last week hearing about the challenges facing families involved in the foster care system from Savannah of Atlanta Angels. What was clear is there are plenty of volunteer opportunities to help the children who are in the system and Roswell Rotary will do what we can to help those in need.

We presented the bylaw changes which was passed by our board. Thanks to the many members who reached out to me applauding this boards move to pivot in this difficult environment we are living in.  I will be publishing a Q and A pertaining to some questions which were expressed to me and others in our leadership.  The main point to remember is the changes in the bylaws allow for flexibility with the board and fluidity with membership in making such changes both in implementing some new classifications or choosing to delete them should they prove to not be in the best interest of the club.

Friday morning a group of Roswell Rotarians gathered in Riverside Park to hold hands and pray for healing for many Rotarians and family who are facing medical challenges including Pam McCleary, Bob Hagan, Malone Dodson, Mary Robichaux, Johnathan Crooks and others. It truly made me feel proud to be a Roswell Rotarian.

Last but certainly not least, you do NOT want to miss this week’s meeting when Ron Clark will be walking across tables to deliver his message about being innovative and creative in teaching our next generation of potential Rotarians!
