Peace and Conflict Prevention/Resolution Month

This Weeks Program!

As we celebrate and honor Black History Month we have some local hero's who are making a difference in our community. We will have a panel discussion with Chris Hopkins, Owner of Hopkins Mortuary, Rosco Smith, Owner of A+ Lawn & Cleaning Services, Rickela Reynolds, Owner of Rickela Does Film, and Dr. Brittany Crenshaw, Internal Medicine Specialist. They are apart of the 40 and under, young entrepreneurs club that are true trailblazers and everyday they create, build and provide hope here in Thomasville.

What you Missed Last Week!

We had a fantastic meeting last week! The Rose City String band from the Thomasville City School System rocked the room and those kids are just talented.   A special thank you, the our Spark spokesman Mike Bixler and guest Doug for sharing the purpose of the program and the role that Rotary and fellow Rotarians play in supporting local entrepreneurs. Congratulations, to our winner Irene for winning the pot last week with a little over $1,800. Her winning story is... She took a dollar out of her mom purse and only bought one ticket. Her mom is still with her and making it happen. We love you Irene and Congratulations!
