After Hours Update
After Hours Club: We're celebrating Memorial Day early at our next meeting!

Tuesday's meeting will be an extra special one. In honor of Memorial Day, we will have two veterans join us to speak! One will be our very own AH member and Army vet, Allison Ziants!! The other will be Alfonso Rogers from the Veterans Empowerment Organization. He will share ways our club can give back to the veteran communities in Roswell.

And mark your calendars for our June 7 meeting as well. Author Chris Tuff will be speaking and we want to pack the house! Same time, same place.

Don't Miss a Thing!
RRC Switches From Text Marks to Simple Texting

RRC has switched to Simple Texting for club reminders.

How does this effect me?

If you are a member with a cell phone number on record with the club, you are already set up! You will get a compliance message when we send the first text on the new service.

If you did not give a cell number to the club and want text reminders, just text RRC to 833-456-2829 and this will get you signed up! Easy!

What changes if I already get club texts?

Just the number that the message will come from. So if you see the number 833-456-2829 in your text messages, that's the RRC notification.

Any questions? Tori Nielson, our awesome Club Administrator will help you!

Awesome Weather & People

Blood Drive Tue, May 31 at Gate City
2 out of 3 Rotarians aren't able to donate. So Plan to donate or get a friend to donate on your behalf!

If a free pint of Gate City's beer or ale isn't enough for you or a friend of yours to donate, your American Red Cross will give you exclusive 20-oz. American Red Cross aluminum water bottle and customizable sticker set, while supplies last.  Hydrate on a road trip, at home or at a Rotary meeting.

But we know you want to help our club's blood drive to collect >50 pints because saving lives -- Service Above Self -- is why you are a Rotarian.   Our community has an ongoing need, and there is no substitute for human blood.  Help save a life. It's that simple.

Just one blood donation can help save more than one life. Your contribution to the national blood supply could make a huge difference in someone else's life.  Please consider signing up or getting a friend or family member to join the giving!

Click here to reserve a space May 31st to donate.

For more information, contact Darrell Bartlett or  Hal Schlenger

As always, we want to thank Pat Rains and Michael Curling for the current and past help saving lives in our community.

Hump Day
Save the Date for our next Hump Day at Lucky's

Burgers and beer. Name a more iconic duo.

We can't wait for our next Hump Day at Lucky's Burger & Brew! Come by for fellowship and fun with fellow Rotarians in the middle of the week.

Includes visits to the grounds of historic Bullock and Mimosa Halls
Walk with a Doctor on Sat Jun 4 at 8:30am

This is a celebration and periodic check-in for  how you are doing with your doctor's advice to do something physical.  We're not judging; we're supportive.   If you want to look like President Terry and the many other svelte Rotarians, this is what the doctor ordered.  :-)

Our walk will be to the historic grounds of  Roswell's Bulloch & Mimosa Hall. We'll start and end at Land of a Thousand Hills, 352 S Atlanta St, Roswell, GA 3007 --- free gourmet coffee for all walkers!

Thanks to the Friends of Mimosa Hall for the arrangement of the 2 and 3 mile walk options.

Our health talk will be "Skin protection or Overkill" by health and wellness coach Nancy Lovejoy.

Note: Our July walk will be Sat, Jul 16 at 8:30am to visit the Chatahoochee Nature Center's Butterfly Encounter and walk the trail at the nature center.

New location for Tue, May 17: Business Networking Rotary-Style continues
Smarter Biz Dev because it's with Fellow Rotarians (District Event)

This is an opportunity for you or someone on your staff who needs to network and generate revenue, or someone you are interested in recruiting to Roswell Rotary that needs to network with Rotarians:

This is networking with people who have the integrity of the 4 Way Test!  This is why Paul Harris formed Rotary for 1905. Professionals with diverse backgrounds could exchange ideas, form meaningful, lifelong friendships, and conduct business together.

Our last gathering again drew a crowd from the Atlanta Metro, Dunwoody, Peachtree City, Roswell, Sandy Springs and Tucker clubs.

While Rotary is about "Service Above Self," there is a growing place for networking in Rotary, particularly for those responsible for generating revenue.

Location:     King & Queen Buildings

Courtside Grille at Concourse Athletic Club

8 Concourse Parkway

Sandy Springs , GA 30328

Plenty of free parking

Please plan to join us on Tue, Jun 21 at 6:30pm.

For more information, please contact Hal Schlenger HSchlenger@GreatSouthBenefits.com | (770-335-0077), or Johnathan Clark of the Tucker Club (johnathanmclark@gmail.com | 404.512.6058).

Rotary Dates to Save
This is Where the Magic Happens. Will You Join Us?

This is what earns Roswell Rotary such a great reputation … and "Club of the Year" recognition. Plan to attend … and think about bringing a friend or prospective new member.

If you believe in Rotary's mission and recognize the value our club brings to our community and our world, then share it with others!
