President Scott Einfeldt's Welcome Message

In 2021, The Rotary Club of Sandy Springs celebrated our 50^th anniversary of providing volunteer services and financial support to charities in and around Sandy Springs. Our core seven areas of focus are: Basic Education and Literacy, Economic and Community Development, Water and Sanitation, Disease Prevention and Treatment, Maternal and Child Health and Peace and Conflict Prevention/Resolution. If you have a heart’s desire to serve in one of these areas, Rotary is the best civic organization to utilize your time, talent and treasures. I welcome you to visit our club for a free lunch on us and to experience the Rotary Club of Sandy Springs' hospitality and energy. We meet on Monday for lunch at 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. at the Hilton Perimeter Suites, 6120 Peachtree Dunwoody Road, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. Maria Manahan - CEO of Campbell-Stone Senior Living

On Monday, November 14th the Rotary Club of Sandy Springs had the pleasure of hearing Maria Manahan, CEO of Campbell-Stone Senior living, speak about the vital role Campbell-Stone plays in the Sandy Springs community.

Maria has been at Campbell-Stone four years.  However, Maria’s ties to Campbell-Stone extend beyond the last four years. In the mid-90s, Maria worked at Campbell-Stone for 6.5 years in different roles.  She returned to Campbell-Stone to serve on the Board of Directors and in 2018 became the organization’s CEO. Maria has spent her entire career in the nonprofit sector. She has a bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies from Georgia State University.  A Certificate in Gerontology from Georgia State and a master’s in Policy Studies with a major in nonprofit management also from Georgia State. 

For more than 50 years, Campbell-Stone has been on a mission. No one should have to choose between affordable senior housing and a safe, caring, active community. Campbell-Stone offer's two HUD-subsidized senior living communities—in Buckhead and in Sandy Springs. Their non-profit communities have become home to thousands of active and engaged seniors from all walks of life. A place where people of all cultures, beliefs and faiths are not only welcome and accepted, but respected, encouraged and supported in maintaining their independence and a wonderful quality of life.

Brooklyn Cafe

The Rotary Club of Sandy Springs will meet for dinner on November 28th at 6:00pm to have a Family of Rotary event at Brooklyn Cafe. Bring your family and join us to enjoy the contemporary neighborhood cuisine of one of the best restaurants in the city!

Brooklyn Cafe is located at 220 Sandy Springs Circle Sandy Springs, Georgia behind the City Springs shopping center.
