Starting This Friday, Meetings Will Be In Person Only

We want everyone back in person. The Board has voted to discontinue the use of FaceBook Live or Zoom  starting this Friday, April 7. We hope this action encourages you to join us in person - and also take this action to help protect our speakers and any business content they present.

This Week's Speaker
Dr. Ralph Peeler, Rotary Club of North Atlanta re: Spina Bifida Prevention

Join us this Friday, April 7 at Le Meridien to welcome Dr. Ralph Peeler and hear about the project he is working on with the North Atlanta Rotary Club and many others to help prevent spina bifida. Note there will not be a virtual option for attending. [more]

Golf Tournament Update
Is Everyone Working on Their Golf Game?

We know our GRSP student - Shashwat Pradhan - is working with the golf team at Oglethorpe University. And recent pictures indicate that our Rotary Youth Exchange student, Camille, was out practicing her game at Top Golf.

Even if you're not working on your game, we hope you're ready to support Dunwoody's second annual FORE the Memories Golf Tournament on May 15 at the prestigious St. Marlo Country Club in Duluth, GA. We have room for golfers, volunteers and sponsors - check in with Dottie Toney Ransom if you'd like to volunteer, and visit the tournament website or contact Rick Woods if you'd like to be a sponsor.

We can't promise to improve your golf game, but we do know that your support will benefit the Alzheimer's Association and other charities we support in the Dunwoody Community.

Opportunity to Support
Dunwoody Arts Festival Needs You!

Dunwoody Rotarians have been Community Partners with Splash Festivals (festival organizers) since “DAY 1” (2010) in helping to make the Dunwoody Art Festival an inviting signature event for the Dunwoody community. Please mark your calendar to join the fun to help Dunwoody Art Festival 2023 be a best-ever experience for one and all!

The festival team appreciates our continued support, "The Dunwoody Rotary Club is once again our loyal friend and partner.  Their community spirit is reflected in everything they do, and we are very proud to have them help present Dunwoody Art Festival 2023.  All we need is YOU!  We are grateful for the help of the wonderful volunteers like you."

In exchange for the amazing volunteer support by Dunwoody Rotary and Atlanta Rotaract members, the Rotary Club of Dunwoody receives a complimentary, well-located exhibit space at the festival.  We are seeking volunteers for the festival and Rotarians to help host the Rotary exhibit and to “Tell the RCD Story”.

Fellowship Opportunity
Join Us for Theater Night - June 3

Ron and Louise Barden would like to invite you to join us at the Aurora Theatre at 8 PM on June 3 to see a hysterical comedy, "The Play that goes Wrong."  They saw this in NY, as did Carter. If you'd like to join, please buy your own tickets at http//: www.auroratheatre.com. At this time, seats are available and there are no bad seats in this beautiful new theatre. I suggest you buy tickets soon. If you wish to meet for supper before the play, let Louise know and she will make reservations at a restaurant near the theatre in old downtown Lawrenceville.
