What a Weekend
THANK YOU!

From Friday to Monday this past weekend, Rotarians were on the move - doing what we do best - having fun while we support the needs of the community. You could find us everywhere at the Dunwoody Arts Festival - checking in artists, helping them get set up, telling the story of Dunwoody Rotary to festival attendees. And Monday, we were out in full force again - as golfers, sponsors and volunteers at our second annual FORE the Memories Golf Tournament. You'll hear more about the results and see more pictures in the days to come, but for now we just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone who played a part in the weekend's activities.

And did we mention that we started the weekend off right with the induction of two new members on Friday morning - Alison Norris and Meghan Barry. Both were seen volunteering at our weekend events! Welcome to you both - and more information on each in our next newsletter!

No Friday Meeting This Week
Join Us for Thirsty Thursday at North Italia

Join us tomorrow - Thursday, May 18 - for fun and fellowship at North Italia in Dunwoody. Festivities begin at 5:30 pm ... you will find us at 4600 Ashford Dunwoody Road NE. We all deserve to have some fun after a well-played weekend that included volunteering at the Dunwoody Arts Festival and golfing/volunteering on behalf of Alzheimer's and the Dunwoody Rotary Charitable Fund at Monday's successful FORE the Memories tournament!

Make Your Reservations
Our Year-End Celebration is Fast Approaching; RSVP Now!

While you're getting ready for this Thirsty Thursday, think forward to June 15 - and let Louise Barden know if you and a guest will be joining our end-of-year celebration at the Dunwoody Country Club on Thursday, June 15. Help us let President Jennifer know how much we appreciate her leadership this Rotary year, celebrate some special Rotarians,  and welcome Jack Sparks and his leadership team for the 2023-24 Rotary year.

It's a great opportunity for fellowship! The event runs from 5:30 to 7:30 pm - we'll be serving heavy appetizers and beverages!

You and a guest are invited to attend. Please RSVP to Louise Barden by email at lbarden@comcast.net.

Service Opportunity
Bounds Garden Needs You This Saturday!

Still Time to Sign Up
Dunwoody Rotary Night at Aurora Theater Night - June 3 ... Contact Louise

Ron and Louise Barden would like to invite you to join us at the Aurora Theatre at 8 PM on June 3 to see a hysterical comedy, "The Play that goes Wrong."  They saw this in NY, as did Carter. If you'd like to join, please buy your own tickets at http//: www.auroratheatre.com. There are no bad seats in this beautiful new theatre. If you wish to meet for supper before the play, let Louise know and she will make reservations at a restaurant near the theatre in old downtown Lawrenceville.
