Have you registered for District Conference, March 21-24, 2024?! Early birds get special rates!  Join us as we Amplify Rotary and feature the Lady with a Song, none other than our District Governor André Marria at the beautiful Jekyll Island Convention Center. Several hotels on the island have room blocks reserved through February 21, 2024. Jekyll Island is booming, so you are encouraged to book your hotel room NOW! Once our room blocks are sold there is no guarantee that additional room nights will be added. For more information on registration, room blocks, and the conference in general, click HERE.

As Will Felts said in a recent weekly meeting, there are meetings to attend but really it’s more like a spring break for adults…PLUS: we all need to support our District Governor and club member, Andre’ Marria!  For even more details from this past District Newsletter, check out the story and links.  Click HERE.

MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE MEMBERS NEEDED

We still need Rotarians to join our team. Become the planner for Wine or Whine, lead the Red Ribbon Program, make calls/send cards to fellow Rotarians for an extra touch, become a pen pal for our Rotary Has Heart For Seniors, and/or give your own ideas on how to maintain and grow our club. Reach out to Rotarian Angela Williamson.

‘DISCOVER ROTARY’ WITH WINE OR WHINE 3/5

Wine or Whine for March will be a special occasion held at a private residence of Rotarian Scott and Peggy Rich on March 5th from 5:30-7PM.  This coming month’s Wine or Whine will be themed around all things Rotary: “Discover Rotary.” The goal for this particular social event is to recruit potential new members and even invite former members who may be interested in rejoining our Rotary club. Though the invitation will stay explicit between members, spouses, and those guests whom we welcome “by invitation only”, please note the event location will be held at the following private residence address of Rotarian Scott and Peggy Rich: 526 East Jefferson Street, Thomasville, GA

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to Rotarian Angela Williamson or Scott Rich.

P.S. We now have physical Rotary Club of Thomasville invitation cards (business card sized) which can be filled out with your contact information and upcoming meeting information and given out to prospective new members !  Please see Rotarian Angela Williamson at our next meeting if you would like to collect some of these for distribution…we have plenty and encourage YOU to invite our future new members!
