Join us this Friday at Maggiano's to welcome Mariam C. Falaki and learn more about The Sandwich Project (TSP) -a non-profit organization whose volunteers assemble and donate fresh, homemade sandwiches each week for immediate consumption to meet the food scarcity needs in Metro Atlanta.
Miriam serves as an at‑large board member for The Sandwich Project, bringing a wealth of financial planning expertise, cross-cultural fluency, and a strong community service ethos. As a CFP® professional at Savant Wealth Management in Atlanta-she specializes in comprehensive financial planning, serving clients since 2012.
Once you've learned about The Sandwich Project, we think you'll want to get involved ... NOW!
Meghan Berry will be hosting a sandwich-making opportunity for Rotarians and their partners on Sunday, October 26 at her house, 5101 Vernon Ridge Drive, Dunwoody, GA 30338. Join Meghan at 3pm to make 200 sandwiches to donate to The Sandwich Project. TSP will then get these sandwiches to area nonprofit partners who serve children and families who are food insecure.
Now in Week 10 of the Whiskey Raffle!
This is your weekly update on the
Whiskey Raffle… only a few weeks left!
This Saturday, October 25 at 4pm we’ll host a whiskey tasting sponsored by Willett Distillery and Politan Row. This is a free event but spots are limited so register online to reserve your spot.
Remember that this year the price is $25/ticket or a bulk deal of 5 tickets for $100. There are a maximum 1,000 tickets available. Visit whiskey-raffle.com and send your friends (especially those that love whiskey and/or a good cause)!
Thursday October 30, 2025 will be Rotary Club of Dunwoody USO Volunteer Day. We will serve our service personnel and family members an “All American” lunch of hot dogs with all the condiments, potato chips, fresh fruit, snack bars, home baked cookies, bottled water AND a portion of baked Ziti & Mom’s meatball. We need you - to work that day at the USO and/or bake cookies for our military personnel. Please contact Charlie Augello at Italian@e48stmarket.com if you would like to be a volunteer or be a cookie baker. [more]

to present, and suggest topics this speaker could present. - to nominate speakers, let us know why they may be a good fit
