RSVP Here! RSVP for Monday's Meeting Jonathan J. Hunt, Esq. is proud to serve as Interim General Manager/CEO of the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA). Jonathan is a regular rider of MARTA and uses this time to help connect with customers, observe the transit system, and make systemwide improvements.
Prior to serving as Interim GM/CEO, Jonathan was MARTA’s Chief Legal Counsel. He holds several leadership positions within the industry, among them Chair of APTA’s Legal Affairs Committee.
Prior to joining MARTA, Jonathan served as the Assistant City Attorney with the City of Atlanta. While with the City, Jonathan represented, among other concerns, Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport – the world’s busiest airport. Additionally, Jonathan practiced law for six years with the firms of Dentons US, LLP in Atlanta and Baker & Hostetler LLP based in Cleveland, Ohio. Jonathan was also in-house counsel for Limited Brands, Inc., where he served as primary counsel for Victoria’s Secret and Intimate Beauty Corporation advising senior and executive management.
Prior to law school, Jonathan served as a lead Project Engineer for Gilbane, Inc., an international construction management company. Jonathan received an undergraduate degree from Hampton University and a Juris Doctor degree and Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Case Western Reserve University Schools of Law and Management. While at Case Western, Jonathan was named the first Baker & Hostetler Paul D. White Scholar and was the recipient of the Martin Luther King,Jr. Award.
Jonathan is married to Ashanti T. Hunt, Esq. and together they have a son, Jonathan J.Hunt II.

Volunteer Opportunity on June 20!This is the last volunteer opportunity on Saturday June 20th at 10:00 am for this Rotary year, and it's a big one. We have more routes and we are looking for Rotarians who can spend 90-minutes taking a route or riding with another Rotarian to deliver pet food to LifeLine clients. End of Year Party!What an amazing end of year party! We enjoyed pizza, gelato, a short sprinkle of rain, and lots of good company. Thank you so much to Cathy LaMon and her husband Bob for hosting the party. What an amazing time to celebrate our member accomplishments and another amazing year of service above self.   
Help us Reach our GSRP Goal!Since 1946, the Georgia Rotary Student Program (GRSP) has provided scholarships that promote cultural understanding, lifelong friendships, and the ideals of Rotary worldwide. This year, Buckhead Rotary proudly sponsored Dani Bergamo from Brazil. Our goal is to reach $100 per member in GRSP contributions, which will earn our club a 50% incentive credit toward sponsoring next year’s student. This reduces the club’s sponsorship cost and allows these funds to be reallocated to such things as our signature projects. We have made some progress due to the generosity of Mark Meltzer and Scott Thompson, but we are still approximately $1,400 short of reaching our goal. If you would like to contribute, please do so by June 25th and indicate that your gift is for Buckhead Rotary, so the club receives credit.
