Previous Program
Cookie Aftergut, founder of Chemoflage describes her organization

On Monday June, 3rd, Cookie Aftergut visited the Sandy Springs Rotary Club to tell us about Chemoflage. In her signature chamouflage attire, Cookie proclaimed that she is not just a breast cancer survivor, she is a breast cancer "THRIVER".

Cookie is responsible for starting her own fully independent non-profit organization which she calls Chemoflage. Chemoflage organization designed especially for women who are undergoing chemotherapy. Her program is free as is all the materials and tools provided. The meetings are a stand-alone educational program in which participants receive nutritional guides, guides to aid relaxation, fashion and make-up suggestions and so much more.

In addition to founding Chemoflage in May of 2006, she is also the primary facilitator for the program. From the time you make you initial phone call, through the program itself, one will receive the benefits of Cookie's guidance and suggestions as a cancer "thriver".
Please visit the Chemoflage website for more information.

The Sandy Springs Rotary Club would like to thank Cookie for all the past work and her continued persistence as a valuable resource to those fighting breast cancer.
Cookie is really living the Rotary mottoes of "Service Above Self" and "One Profits Most Who Serves Best."
