Greenway/Hagan Golf/Tennis Tournaments

Trademark Fundraiser for the Roswell Club Funds most of our charitable activities for the year. This 37th year we blew the lid off previous fundraising efforts netting over $200K after expenses. This money flows to 50+ charities in our community via grants. It also funds the sponsorship of a school we sponsor in Honduras. Funds from this effort will feed initiatives in all 5 of RI's "Avenues of Service".

Every member of our club is tasked with helping with this event. So we get over 90% club involvement plus families and the organizations we support. But calculating the impact of this fundraiser is daunting as it helps fund the operations of so many other organizations. Easily, this impacts thousands of lives.

While this is a one day event, it takes a year of planning and fundraising to make it a success. And we now combine three major events into one with Golf, Tennis and an evening casino / auction and dinner. Both golf and tennis require two full flights run in the morning and in the afternoon.

Roswell Rotary's tournament is touted to be the largest such non-profit event in the Southeast. As a result, we get full media coverage in our local press.

The impact on the community must be considered in the thousands given that every sector of non-profits is touched by our grants.

As hard as we work, and as big as this event is, most members would also say they have the most fun participating.
