Starting in July the club members have been provided with a weekly resource reflecting current club news and information, and future plans. It has become a resource reflecting past and upcoming Club programs, Rotary District and Rotary International news, as well as local community happenings.
In recent years the "weekly club bulletin" had gone by the wayside leaving a void in club information sharing and communication. This weekly news mat was created to fill the void and inspire club members. By sharing on a regular basis, the activities and events club members may have participated in or missed, there is an opportunity to connect and celebrate with each other.
This weekly news from North Atlanta Rotary is also shared with many others within the District including DG Raymond Ray, DGE Alec Smythe, Lt Gov elect Candace Klein, PDG Alicia Michael, and other club Presidents, to name a few. We also send it to NA Rotary Club Honorary Rotarians, as well as the North Atlanta Roteract President and Past President, prospective members, community leaders and some former Rotarians. Given the reception of the weekly news mat it is well appreciated and enjoyed. It is distributed to approximately 50 individuals each week, as well as hard copies available at the club meetings.
A sampling of the weekly North Atlanta News are attached.
In addition to the weekly news mat, a club calendar is also provided at the meeting electronically as well as hard copies. These efforts have been well received having enthused and energized our club members.
