RYLA 2026: Building Tomorrow’s Leaders
From June 6–10, 2026, Rotary District 6900 hosted an inspiring five-day Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) summer camp at Georgia Southwestern State University, bringing together 96 outstanding young leaders and 45 dedicated staff members from communities across West Georgia.
Designed for students ages 15–18, RYLA gives young people an opportunity to step outside their comfort zones, discover their leadership potential, and build lasting friendships with peers from diverse backgrounds.
Throughout the week, students participated in team-building activities, leadership development, meaningful service projects, and experiences designed to challenge, encourage, and inspire them.
One of the most rewarding aspects of RYLA is the opportunity to serve others. Through service projects, students and staff worked side by side to make a positive difference while learning that leadership is not simply about being in charge—it is about serving others, building relationships, listening, and making a difference.
RYLA is more than a summer camp. It is an experience that helps young people find their voice, strengthen their confidence, develop leadership skills, and discover the power of working together.
The Rotary Youth Leadership Awards program continues to demonstrate Rotary’s commitment to investing in the next generation of leaders.
? 96 young leaders. 45 dedicated staff members. Five unforgettable days. Countless connections and lessons that will last a lifetime.
Thank you to everyone who helped make RYLA 2026 such a meaningful and memorable experience!
