The District Governorship went back to Alabama in 1919-20, when Truman L. McGill became the leader of the District.
As far as Rotary extension in Georgia was concerned, Governor McGill’s administration saw two clubs come into being, when the late John Hancock organized a club in Marietta, and when Jacksonville, Florida, stepped up to Valdosta and sponsored a club there.
