North Cobb Pints and Pearls Supports Polio Plus

The Rotary Club of North Cobb gathered for its second annual Pints and Pearls event at Red Top Brewhouse in Acworth GA. It was a wonderful evening filled with fun, fellowship, and generosity in support of ending polio. More than 50 members, guests, and friends gathered to play Heads and Tails. The event raised $1,837.81 for the Polio Plus campaign, and our winning participant was Beth Riedemann.

Additionally, DG Steve Ivory joined the event to recognize club member Robert Hankinson and his wife Marion as Major Donors for the Rotary Foundation. This marks the second major donor for the North Cobb Rotary Club. DG Steve also supported the pinning ceremony for six new Paul Harris Fellows and three level promotions. With these additions, the club has earned 19 new and leveling up Paul Harris Fellows this Rotary year.
