Dunwoody Rotarians were quite busy in October. In addition to our visit to Bounds Garden, we enjoyed a Friday meeting presentation on The Sandwich Project, then gathered that Sunday at the Zambris' home to make ham & cheese sandwiches for The Sandwich Project! We made short work of the task for a very worthy cause under the leadership of Meghan with help from husband, Pete and had fun afterward with wine and conversation!
Then we took our food skills AND dozens of homemade cookies to the USO at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport - serving hotdogs, lasagna, cookies and fruit to our service men and women. Dunwoody hosts at the USO twice each year and has for more than 15 years.
Finally, we gathered for one of the whiskey tastings leading up to our annual Whiskey Raffle fundraiser - learning about Glenmorangie scotch from our host and raffle co-chair Neal MacDonald.
