The Rotary Club of Fayetteville brought home a big win this month after being voted the First-Place Winner in the Main Street Fayetteville Pop-Up Scarecrow Contest! A team of enthusiastic and crafty Rotarians, Michelle Bennet-Copeland, Dr. Alvetta Thomas, Shawn Elzie, Vickie Butler, and Tish Williams worked together to design and build our Rotary-themed scarecrow at the Fayette County Public Library, displaying both creativity and classic Rotary spirit. Community members visited Downtown Fayetteville throughout the week to vote, and Rotarians were proud to say their entry took the top honors. This fun project was an opportunity not only to showcase Rotary but also to remind the community that service can be joyful, artistic, and full of personality. Thank you to all Rotarians who helped design, build, and promote our scarecrow!
