Marietta Metro Supports Education

Marietta Metro Rotarians kicked off Basic Education and Literacy month a bit early by participating in back-to-back events to benefit the Emily Lembeck Early Learning Center in Marietta.  For the first event, a Health Fair, children painted kindness rocks at our station to place around the area.  For the second event, the Reading Is Fun fair, we provided the preschoolers with goody bags that contained crayons, coloring books, and other school supplies.

We recently presented scholarships to three college-bound Interact students: Ashaf Kashif, Maxwell Crowson, and Liam Lepp.  Students and their parents were honored at one of our club meetings.
